Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Veo Archiver ("we", "us", or "our") operates varchiver.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign up via Google or email through our authentication provider (Clerk).
- YouTube connection — an OAuth refresh token granting us permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf. This token is encrypted at rest.
- Veo connection — your Veo club and team slug, used to discover and fetch your recordings.
- Recording metadata — titles, dates, and URLs of Veo recordings we process for your account.
- Billing information — your subscription status. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
- Usage data — logs of archiving activity (upload start/finish, errors) used to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and manage your account.
- To discover new Veo recordings and upload them to your YouTube channel.
- To process subscription payments and manage billing.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts) via Clerk.
- To diagnose errors and improve reliability.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described below.
Third-party sub-processors
- Clerk — authentication and user management (clerk.com).
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe may use your data in accordance with their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe is a PCI-certified payment processor and handles all card data directly.
- Google / YouTube — we use the YouTube Data API to upload videos on your behalf. Your use is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service.
- Neon — hosted Postgres database where account and recording data is stored (neon.tech).
- Cloudflare — video chunking worker used during uploads (cloudflare.com).
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records). YouTube OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon disconnecting your channel.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. You can revoke YouTube access at any time via your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
